Chromateq’s mini DMX-RDM distributor, with its tiny size, small integration space requirement, power protections, the RDM capacity and duplicating the signal, is the essential tool for all your lighting installations and DMX wiring. Quick RDM messages are also transmit in both signal directions.
The splitter device takes signal from a DMX point to raise the data signal into 2 identical output points. DMX signals are boosted to transmit data to a longer distance on your DMX installation and long distance wiring. The high voltage protections can secure the installation and protect your lighting and all control equipment. Fast RDM signals are transmit in both directions.
SPLIT RDM are used in lighting installations to protect the DMX lines from lightning, surges and high currents on the DMX cables coming from the fixtures. The SPLIT RDM also is recommended when the DMX signal gets weak, for example after 50, 100 or 150 meters of DMX cable or when there are several fixture connected, like 15, 20 or more units on the same DMX line.
