ETHERNET TO DMX STAND ALONE INTERFACE

Chromateq software is available as a free download, although you’ll need to connect a USB or Ethernet interface, which converts the software’s control data into DMX, the communication protocol used by lighting fixtures. The interface unlocks specific software options, and allows your show’s autonomous memory to be written for playback without a computer, while maintaining remote control in real time.

Sold worldwide since 2017 and used in several thousand in several thousand lighting installations, the CQSA range (CQSA, CQSA-E, CQSA-E2) is therefore an ideal partner for many live and stand-alone projects.

CQSA-E2 is the new 2025 version of our CQSA-E and includes a RS232 communication in both directions in/out in Standalone or software mode and an RDM DMX protocol for fixtures remote patch.

A fusion between the CQSA and the CQSA-E, the CQSA-E2 is a 7-in-1 multiprotocol Standalone device featuring RDM, DMX playback, DMX In/Out, Art-Net Out, sACN Out, Node (Art-Net to DMX decoder), and Splitter.

The CQSA-E2 is an versatile and essential tool designed to meet the needs of the widest array of lighting projects, Live performances and installations.

Connect your interface via USB or LAN to communicate with your wired DMX lighting fixtures to share and modify addressing data. Via the software, patch your physical devices remotely and easily, that they match the software patch.

ART-NET in stand-alone

Save your Art-Net show on your computer's SD card, then insert it into your device for stand-alone playback. Multiply your universes by 4 with Art-Net and create even more impressive stand-alone shows.

DMX IN

Configure one of the device XLR as a DMX input, to connect another DMX device, such as a lighting desk. Trigger and merge DMX signals from other DMX devices.

WEB REMOTE

Connect your device on LAN via the Ethernet port to use Wi-Light 2. Remote control your devices and your scenes, directly on your mobile or tablet

RS232 In stand-alone

Connect the interface to the compatible RJ45 port and to the control device port to enter the predefined ASCII commands. Control your lighting fixtures and trigger your scenes via a third-party automation device.

INTERNAL CLOCK

Thanks to your interface's internal clock, you can use the software to schedule your scenes for stand-alone playback. Trigger your scenes recurrently according to a calendar, hour, day, week, month or year.
